We are a mainline congregation of the Presbyterian Church (USA). We are a member of the Presbytery of Plains and Peaks, and the Synod of the Rocky Mountains.

Our Mission

Our Family of Christ Presbyterian Church is an open and affirming faith community sharing a commitment to public ministry, a belief in social justice, a healthy distrust of authority, an affinity for progressive thought and action and an abiding faith that God looks kindly on those who question.”

We support the work of local agencies, programs and special projects as well as the work of the Presbyterian Church (USA)

We are active in promoting the Christian Campus Ministry at the University of Northern
Colorado.

Presbyterian Women of the church hold monthly Bible study and organize special mission projects.

The Covenant Network

The Covenant Network of Presbyterians is a broad-based, national group of clergy and lay leaders working for a church that is simultaneously faithful, just, and whole. The Covenant Network seeks to: support the mission and unity of the Presbyterian Church (USA); articulate and act on the church’s historic, progressive vision; work for a fully inclusive church; and find ways to live out the graciously hospitable gospel by living together with all our fellow members in the PC(USA). We Are Family

Worship services make the name "Family of Christ" come alive by welcoming diversity in a family atmosphere. We are More Light Presbyterian Church, affirming the right of all people to worship and serve God. 

We have a tradition of lay participation, including our children, in worship and mission. Nursery, and Sunday School and playground activity involve our children.
